All of our chargers come with a 5 Year Warranty as standard, this can be extended. We also offer insurance plans for every device to ensure you’re always totally protected. Our fully-trained electrical engineers will be with you within 24 hours to carry our a full maintenance check of the unit and solve any issues. We’re so confident in our team’s abilities that if they’ve not arrived after 24 hours, we’ll reimburse you 1 day’s estimated earnings.

How do i report a fault on my EV units?
You can report a fault with a charge point quickly and easily using this form here. We’ll endeavour to be with you and carrying out the equired maintenance within 2 hours.
Can i control who uses our charging stations?
Yes. You can go for an activated unit which opens the charger for general use, or use a key to control access to authorised users. Alternatively, you can install a communicating unit with access controlled by use of an RFID access card.
Who manages the electricity supplies?
This is completely up to you. We have wholesale agreements with major suppliers, and can in essence become your ‘supplier’, generally speaking at a far cheaper rate than your existing one. However, if you wish to stay with your existing one this is fine also.
What about planning permission?
In terms of planning, up until March of this year, it was a relatively long & drawn-out process, certainly in Scotland. However with a change to planning laws specifically for electric vehicle chargers, the government have made things much easier, and we’re seeing planning granted from one to two months.
How do i apply for an OZEV for my business?
To be eligible for a Workplace Charging Scheme grant, the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles states you must have your charging stations fitted by an authorised installer.
Before you approach an OZEV authorised installer, you’ll need to establish any permissions needed for off-street parking facilities that you don’t own or manage. If you’re responsible for part of a car park and other businesses own and use the rest, this is OK.
How good is the quality of Ayo EV charging stations?
All our charge points come with a comprehensive 3-year parts and labour warranty as standard. Should you encounter any problems, our dedicated 24/7 customer care team are always available to assist.
Who manages the media and marketing?
We do! Again, this is completely up to you, but the agreements we have in-place with some of the larger and also boutique media agencies mean all you need to do is switch on the unit and reap the weekly rewards of payments from them. The payments range, dependent on footfall and positioning on-site.
How long does installation take?
Installation in itself can take around 7 working days, provided electricity supply is in-place beforehand. We manage the process with the electricity providers if the likes of substations are required to be installed due to a lack of capacity, these generally take a similar amount of time for installation.
